Yeager Airport

Yeager Airport is an airport in Charleston, West Virginia. The airport's IATA Airport Code is CRW.

After Wertz Field closed down due to the blocked approach by a rubber plant, the city built Kanawha Field. The airport was later renamed to Yeager Airport in honor of Charles E. Yeager. Chuck Yeager piloted the first supersonic flight.
