Wattle

Wattle is the name generally used for the Australian varieties of acacia. Wattle has greygreen foliage in a variety of shapes and sizes, and cream to golden flowers. These flowers consist of a spherical or tubular bundle of stamens, with a minute centre. Wattle flowers profusely for a very short period of time, and many people are allergic to some or all species.
