V4A V4 is an engine in V configuration, having 4 cylinders.Lancia produced several narrow-angle V4 engines. Ford of Europe produced a V4 engine with balancing shafts, used in among other vehicles the Ford Corsair, that was also used by the Saab 96 and the Matra 530. The russian ZAZ also used a V4, that also features an anti-vibration shaft.
