USS TecumsehUSS Tecumseh (SSBN 628) was a US Navy Benjamin Franklin-class fleet ballistic missile submarine. The contract to build her was awarded to Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut on 20 July 1961. She was laid down on 1 June 1962, launched 22 June 1963, commissioned 29 May, 1964, decommissioned and stricken from the Naval Vessel Register on 23 July 1993, and disposed of by submarine recycling on 1 April 1994.She was nicknamed the "Teacup."
