University of SalfordThe University of Salford is a large university situated in the city of Salford in North-West England. It was founded in 1896 as the Royal Salford Technical Institute, and gained its Royal Charter and full university status in 1967.It has as approximately 19,000 students and is based on various campuses, such as Peel Park, Frederick Road, Adelphi, Irwell Valley and Eccles.
