University of Nebraska-Lincoln

University of Nebraska-Lincoln is an institution of higher learning located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The university was founded in 1869. The university is known for its law school and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

The school's sports teams are called the Cornhuskers (or simply "Huskers"). They participate in the NCAA's Division I-A, and in the Big Twelve Conference.

The football team was coached by Tom Osborne from 1973 to 1997, winning 3 National Championships (1994, 1995, and 1997). Osborne was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Nebraska's 3rd Congressional District in November of 2000.
