University of FloridaThe University of Florida is an institution of higher learning located in Gainesville, Florida. It was founded in 1853, and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2003.The school's sports teams are called the Gators. They participate in the NCAA's Division I-A, and in the Southeastern Conference.
