Traditional counties of Scotland

The Traditional counties of Scotland are historical areas of Scotland. They are no longer used for any official purpose.

Note: this map shows Ross-shire and Cromartyshire as one county, which was a change made to the administrative counties made in 1888. Thus, it is not an accurate map of the traditional counties. However, it isn't a map of administrative counties at any time, either, as it has no County of London. Thus, this map is a chimera.
