Tony Kushner

Tony Kushner (born July 1956) is a gay Jewish socialist American Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright.

He was born in Manhattan and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He earned a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and studied directing at New York University's Graduate School.
