The Evergreen State College
The Evergreen State College is a publicly-funded experimental
college that was founded in
1971 in
Olympia, Washington. While its academic offerings have become more traditional in the past 30 years, it still replaces grades with individual written evaluations and organizes most studies into largely interdisciplinary classes titled "Coordinated Studies."
