The Dead BoysThe Dead Boys were a early punk band that formed in Cleveland in the 1970s, evolving out of the band Rocket From The Tombs.Moving to New York City in 1976, they frequently played at the "CBGB" and released a punk album titled "Young, Loud and Snotty", produced by Genya Ravan. Singer Stiv Bators later formed Lords of the New Church with Brian James from The Damned and Dave Tregunna from Sham 69. Lords of the New Church helped start the 1980s glam rock movement. |
