The Boo Radleys

The Boo Radleys were a British shoegazing band that emerged from the late 1980s with Ichabod and I in 1990. The album was underground hit, and scraped the bottom of the UK charts, and the Boo Radleys signed to Rough Trade Records.

Almost immediately after the release of Every Heaven, Rough Trade collapsed and the Boo Radleys had to move to Creation Records for Everything's Alright Forever in 1992. Critically acclaimed and massively popular among the group's fans, Everything's Alright Forever was a success on both sides of the Atlantic. Wake Up (1995) and C'Mon Kids (1996) were similarly popular, and the band was one of the few shoegazing bands to survive the shift to Britpop. Their last album was 1998's Kingsize, and the group broke up soon after its release.
