Television presenter

A television presenter (Brit.) is a celebrity who is best known for introducing or appearing in television programmes but has no particular specialisation. A television presenter may double as an actor, singer, etc, but is normally known to the public only as the presenter of a particular programme or programmes.

In the USA, such a person is called an emcee.
