Tandberg

Tandberg is a manufacturer of videoconferencing systems, located in Oslo, Norway.

The first picture telephone for ISDN was developed in 1989, while the fully integrated Vision H.323 picture telephone was lanuched in 1993. Subsequently, focus moved to higher performance systems.

The Tandberg company was founded in 1933 by Vebjørn Tandberg, initially producing loudspeakers and radio receivers. From 1952, the first tape recorder was launched.
