Spike Jonze

Spike Jonze (born Adam Spiegel c. 1969 in Rockville, Maryland), is a director of music videos, most notably for the Beastie Boys, and films, which are so far limited to the 1999 black comedy Being John Malkovich and the 2002 film Adaptation (both written by Charlie Kaufman).

He was also a producer of the Jackass television series on MTV and of Jackass: The Movie.


Not to be confused with musician/comedian Spike Jones.
