Sokoban

Sokoban (倉庫番 Japanese for "warehouse keeper") is a puzzle in which a man pushes boxes in a warehouse and tries to put them in designated spaces. He can push one box, but not two, and cannot pull a box.

Sokoban was created in 1982 by Hiroyuki Imabayashi, and was published by Thinking Rabbit, a software house based in Takarazuka, Japan. Thinking Rabbit released 2 sequels; Boxxle and Boxworld. If you are interested in trying the game, you will be glad to know that there are countless clones of Sokoban on the Internet, for almost every platform.
