Silkwood is a 1983 film which tells the true story of Karen Silkwood, who died under mysterious circumstances while investigating wrongdoings at the nuclear plant where she worked. It stars Meryl Streep, Kurt Russell, Cher, Craig T. Nelson, Diana Scarwid, Fred Ward and Ron Silver.The movie was written by Alice Arlen and Nora Ephron. It was directed by Mike Nichols.
