Schwarzschild radius

In astronomy, a black hole's Schwarzschild radius is a radius length of influence of the black hole's event horizon.

The equation for the Schwarzschild radius is

where

Rsch is the Schwarzschild radius,
is the gravitational constant
6.67 10–11 N m2 / kg2
M is the mass of the black hole
is the speed of light squared
(299,792,548 m/s)² = 8.98755 × 1016 m²/s²
