Santa Ana, second most important City in
El Salvador, located at 60 kilometers west from San Salvador, the capital city. Santa Ana has aproximately 250,000 inhabitants. Processing center for coffe industries are located near Santa Ana. Currently there are Cable TV, Mobile Phone, Telephone, Internet services throughout the city.

Currently, the mayor of Santa Ana is from the FMLN or the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front, the main left political party, Mr. Orlando Mena. Mr. Mena was reelected on the national elections on March 2003. Fine examples of Spanish Colonial Architecture can be found in Santa Ana
