Sam Adams (footballer)

Sam Adams is an American football defensive tackle. He was picked out of Texas A&M 8th in the 1994 draft by the Seattle Seahawks, playing for them from 1994 - 1999.

He then played for the Baltimore Ravens from 2000 - 2001 (winning Super Bowl XXXV in 2000) the Oakland Raiders in 2002 (losing Super Bowl XXXVII), and the Buffalo Bills in 2003.


Sam Adams Sr. is the father of Sam Adams. He was also a professional footballer, playing at guard for the New England Patriots (1972 - 1980) and New Orleans Saints (1981).
