Saadi

Saadi (1184 - 128/1291?) was a Persian poet. He wrote "The Orchard" (Bustan) in 1257 and "The Rose Garden" (Gulistan) the following year.

Born and died in Shiraz, his tomb was greatly elaborated in 1952 and has since became a tourist attraction.
