Rosedale (Toronto)

Rosedale is the wealthiest neighbourhood in Toronto, it is known as the area where the city's so-called old money lives. Rosedale is located north-east of the downtown and is isolated from the main city by a number of gorges and the rail road tracks. Rosedale thus has very little traffic. Rosedale is near many of the centres of elite Canadian society such as Upper Canada College. In recent years some suburban areas have challegend Rosedale as wealthiest neighbourhood, the Forest Hill is also a very wealthy area.
