Romance (movie)Romance is a 1930 film which tells the story of a bishop telling a young man a cautionary tale of the dangers of falling in love with "fallen women." It stars Greta Garbo, Lewis Stone, Gavin Gordon and Elliott Nugent.The movie was adapted by Edwin Justus Mayer and Bess Meredyth from the play by Edward Sheldon. It was directed by Clarence Brown. It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Greta Garbo) and Best Director.
