Queen Charlotte Islands
The Queen Charlotte Islands are an island archipelago off the north-west coast of British Columbia, Canada, consisting of two main islands: Graham Island in the North, and Moresby Island in the south. Some of the land on them is protected as Haida Gwaii Park. The islands thus home to much wildlife, including many bears. They are a popular destination for adventurous touristss.
The islands are named after Queen Charlotte, wife of King George III of the United Kingdom.
