Quaternary education

Quaternary education or fourth-stage education (known in British English as postgraduate education), is the educational level following the completion of an undergraduate degree at a college or university. Graduate school is an examples of quaternary education; some consider postdoctoral positions to be quaternary education while others consider them to be jobs.
