PSA Flight 182

September 25, 1978 - At around 9:00am, Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) Flight 182, a Boeing 727, is over the North Park neighborhood of San Diego, beginning its final approach into San Diego's Lindbergh Field. A Cessna, being flown by a student pilot clips the right wing of Flight 182, sending both crashing into the neighborhood below.

135 passengers on Flight 182, 2 on the Cessna and 7 people on the ground are killed.
