Portland International Airport

Portland International Airport is the major airport serving Portland, Oregon and is the largest airport in Oregon.

Its IATA airport code is PDX. It is served by the MAX light rail Red Line. Portland International Airport has passenger service to other destinations in the United States, as well as Canada and Germany.

At one time, Delta Air Lines based a lot of Asia operations from Portland. However, the Asian stock market plunge hurt their business. To make matters worse, passengers were complaining about treatment from the FIS facility at Portland. Japanese travel agents warned consumers not to go there, and the city got the nickname "Deportland". Delta eventually pulled their flight to Narita, Japan.
