Pidgeot (Pidgeot in japanese) is a Stage 2 normal-type Pokémon that evolves from Pidgeotto at level 36. Pidgeot has the ability to fly at speeds up to Mach 2; it also spreads its wings when trying to frighten its enemies, and has the ability to whip up a gusty windstorm with just a few flaps if necessary. Pidgeot often hunts Magikarp, which it grabs directly from the water in flight, using its sharp talons.

Availability

In Pokémon Red/Blue, Yellow and Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal, Pidgeot can be obtained by evolving Pidgeotto. In Pokémon Sapphir/Ruby, Pidgeot is not available at all.

Strengths / Weaknesses

Pidgeot is vulnerable to Electric, Ice and Rock, and strong against Grass, Ground, Bug and Ghost.
