OSE

OSE is an acronym for Operating System Embedded, a real-time operating system created by the Swedish firm ENEA.

OSE uses signaling in the form os messages passed to and from processeses in the system. Messages are stored in a queue attached to each process.

The system exists in several revisions named OSE Delta, OSE Epsilon etc. Most companies developing software with OSE use compilers from IAR Systems and ARM processors.

OSE is also an abbreviation for OPENSTEP Enterprise, NeXT's offering of the OpenStep platform for the Microsoft Windows operating system.
OSE is also the abbreviation for Organismos Sididromon Elleniki, the Hellenic Railways Organisation, the state railway of Greece.
