Orlando GibbonsOrlando Gibbons (1583 - June 5, 1685) was an English composer who is known as "Father of Anglican church music". He wrote a quantity of keyboard works, around thirty fantasias for viols, a number of madrigalss (the best known being "The Silver Swan") and several popular hymn tunes. |
