OmaramaOmarama is a small village (population <1000) in the centre of the South Island of New Zealand. It has recently experienced a minor economic boom due to its expanding international reputation as a gliding centre. Omarama became well-known among sailplane pilots around the world for hosting the 1995 gliding world cup. |
