Navajo Nation
The
Navajo Nation is a
Navajo indian reservation and the largest
indian reservation in the
United States. It abuts the
Four Corners landmark and stretches across the Colorado Plateau into
Arizona,
Utah and
New Mexico. Canyon De Chelly National Monument, Monument Valley,
Rainbow Bridge National Monument, the Hopi Indian Reservation and the Shiprock landmark are located within the Navajo Nation. One of the first casino-gambling venues established by native indians was by the Navajo in
Window Rock, Arizona.
