NaphthaNaphtha is a group of various volatile inflammable liquid hydrocarbon mixtures used chiefly as solvents. It occurs naturally and is also called crude petroleum or rock oil.It is obtained from petroleum refineries as the portion of the distillate which is intermediate between the lighter gasoline and the heavier benzene. Naphtha has a specific gravity of about 0.7.
