Moltres
Moltres is a red fire bird Pokémon. It looks like a fat chicken whose body is covered in (made up of) flames. Moltres is Pokémon #146 and it is both Fire type and Flying type. It is one of the three legendary bird Pokémon, with the other two being Articuno and Zapdos. This is the fire one of these birds.Some people used to think that Moltres did not really exist but none the less they were able to catch one to light the torch of the parade before the Indigo League Pokémon battle every year like the Olympics. A Moltres is the proud symbol of the Indigo League.
In Japanese, Moltres is called Fire.
