Mên-an-Tol

The Mên-An-Tol is a small formation of megaliths which looks like a three dimensional one-o-one. This ancient stone monument consists of three granite blocks, one round granite stone with a hole in the middle and two rectangular, upright standing stones at each side of it. In Penwith, Cornwall off the Madron-Morvah road lies the Mên-An-Tol in a moor. It is said in local myths, that if a woman on full moon goes through the centre seven times, backwards, she would get pregnant soon.
