Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center

The Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center ("JSC") is a Mission Control facility for NASA located in Clear Lake City, Texas, which is annexed to Houston.

It was opened as the "Manned Spacecraft Center" in 1963 and renamed the "Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center" in 1973, honoring former United States President Lyndon B. Johnson.
