Lom
The municipality Lom in the county of Oppland, Norway, had 2,519 inhabitants as of January 1, 2002. It was the birthplace of the novelist Knut Hamsun, winner of the 1920 Nobel Prize in Literature.Lom is also famous for having one of the few remaining stave churches in Norway, and is the "gateway" to the Jotunheimen National Park, containing some of Norway's highest peaks.
Lom is also a town in Bulgaria.
