Lee Raymond

Lee F. Raymond has been the chairman of ExxonMobil since 1993. He became the CEO in 1999.

Education

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, University of Wisconsin, 1960.
Raymond earned a PhD. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He was awarded an honorary doctorate of laws degree from the same university in 2001.

Raymond has been the target of fierce criticism from environmental groups for his stances on global warming and his opposition to the Kyoto protocol.
