Jokyu incidentIn 1221 in Japan, Jokyu incident was the attempt of the Imperial Court (Japan) to rebel the rule by the then shogunate, Kamakura Shogunate.The incident completely spoiled the reputation of the Imperial Court (Japan) as the official ruler of Japan.
