John G. AvildsenJohn G. Avildsen is a Hollywood film director who has directed a few classics.Mr Avildsen's movies include Rocky, with Sylvester Stallone, and The Karate Kid, with Ralph Maccio and Pat Morita. The Karate Kid is in essence a karate version of Avildsen's first hit, the aforementioned Rocky.
