Joan Jett
Joan Jett is a rock and roll guitarist and singer.She was born in 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland, but moved with her family to Hollywood, California at a young age.
She first gained attention as the guitarist, main songwriter and occasional singer in the pioneering all-female hard rock, pre-punk band, The Runaways.
After the Runaways disbanded in 1979, she produced an album for Los Angeles punk band, The Germs, then embarked on a solo career, having hits with "I Love Rock and Roll" and covers of Tommy James' "Crimson and Clover" and Gary Glitter's "Do You Wanna Touch Me". She co-starred in the 1986 film "Light of Day".
