Human ecology
Human ecology is a sociological field which studies the relationships between humans and their environment. Human ecology is prominent in rural sociology. Major topics within this field include livestock confinement operations, scenic amenities, urban sprawl.Studies in human ecology may report things like, "Humans prefer to live where there is sunshine, moderate temperatures, and large bodies of water."
