HMS Ardent
HMS Ardent was a Royal Navy type 21 frigate, sunk during the Falklands War in the South Atlantic in 1982.On May 21, 1982 HMS Ardent was badly damaged by bombs from several Argentinian jets while supporting the landing of British troops onto the Falkland Islands. She would sink the following day as a result of the damage. Commanded by Cdr Alan West.
