She was 29 when she blew herself up on Saturday, October 4, 2003 in the popular beach restaurant Maxim's in the northern Israeli city of Haifa, killing at least 19 Arab and Jewish people and wounding 51 others. She was a member of the islamist terrorist group Islamic Jihad and a lawyer.
