Glenn HughesGlenn Hughes is a singer, bass guitar player and guitarist. Best known a the bass player and backing vocalist in Deep Purple from 1973 to 1976, he has also played with Trapeze and Black Sabbath, and recorded various solo works.External link: Glenn Hughes Glenn Hughes was also a singer and dancer who portrayed the biker/leatherman as a founder member of The Village People. He died in on March 4, 2001, aged 50, after a long illness.
