Gabriel's horn
Gabriel's horn (also called Torricelli's trumpet) is a figure invented by Evangelista Torricelli which has infinite surface area and but finite volume. At the time it was discovered (predating calculus), Gabriel's Horn was thought to be a paradox.Gabriel's horn is formed by taking the graph of the equation y = 1/x, with the range x ≥ 1 to avoid the asymptote at x = 0, and rotating it in three dimensions about the x axis.
