Fred Taylor

Fred Taylor is a star running back who is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. He developed into one of the NFL’s top backs in his rookie season of 1998, and by 2000 was already breaking records held by O. J. Simpson and approaching others held by Barry Sanders. As a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Taylor is the only 1,000-yard rusher in Jaguars history (1998, 2000 and 2002). He is a big-play performer who set 29 team records in 1998, set an NFL postseason record in 1999 and shattered most Jaguars rushing records by 2000. By now, Taylor holds 34 Jaguars records and has 11 of the top 12 rushing performances in Jaguars history (234, 183, 181, 151, 145, 145, 142, 137, 136, 128, 128 and 128 yards). Taylor also has six of the seven-longest runs in Jaguars history (77t, 71, 70t, 63t, 52t and 52 yards), as well as the longest run in NFL postseason history (90 yards).
