The racial makeup of the county is 61.91% White, 2.49% Black or African American, 0.73% Native American, 1.62% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 28.98% from other races, and 4.14% from two or more races. 46.67% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 14,840 households out of which 45.00% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.80% are married couples living together, 11.40% have a female householder with no husband present, and 21.80% are non-families. 17.80% of all households are made up of individuals and 7.30% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
