Du MuDu Mu (杜牧, pinyin: Dů Mů, 803-852) was a leading realistic poet in late Tang dynasty. He was born in Chang'an ( present-day Xi'an). Often, he is mentioned with another famous poet Li Shangyin in late Tang, altogether Xiao Li Du ( 小李杜, differs from Da Li Du which means Li Bai and Du Fu).Du Mu was skilled in poetry and poetic prose and ancient Chinese prose. His poems was affected by Du Fu and Han Yu.
