Dido Armstrong

Dido Florian Cloud De Bounevialle Armstrong (born December 25, 1971), is a British pop singer who goes by the stage name Dido. She is best known for her 2001 hit song "Thank You", which was used by the rapper Eminem as the basis for one of his own hit singles, "Stan". "Thank You" was on her debut album No Angel, which was the top-selling album of 2001 in the United Kingdom. Her second album, Life For Rent, was released September 30th, 2003.

Her track "Here With Me" was used as the theme music for the TV series "Roswell".

Dido was educated at Westminster and City of London Girls' schools.
